The
initial meeting enables me to get to know you and will include
a discussion of your interest and needs and how my work can
best meet them. I will guide you through the process as we review
my
files for ideas of poses and mood, or review your photographs for
a possible reference.
In order
to meet your need exactly, I generally elect to create a new
photograph. A photo session will be set up at a mutually agreed
upon location, often at your home. I will advise you in selecting
the right clothing and setting to enable us, together, to create
a timeless design and composition which will communicate the
subject's unique personality.
Once
a photograph has been selected, an agreement will be signed
for commencement of work which will include the size of the piece,
the medium to be used, specific preferences, and an estimated
time frame. A 50% non-refundable deposit will be made at that
time.
The
completed painting will be delivered to you if you live in the
local area. Shipping costs, if necessary, are your responsibility
and payment in full is due at the time of delivery.
The
painting I create represents the subject through my artistic
filters, my creative experience and my technical preferences.

I will
gladly make minor changes at the end of one week, if you desire.
As a
complementary service, I will accompany you to a reputable frame
shop and assist in making a decision about permanent framing.
